Since December 2017 until today he is a Partner of EOS Capital Partners, one of the largest Greek companies managing Private Equity Funds, with more than € 115MM under managed funds for investments in Greek companies.

Since July 2003 until the end of 2017 he was co-founder and CEO of Attica Ventures, an investment company specializing in venture capital investments, which managed a series of investments in Greek MSBs creating more than 800 direct new jobs. Four of them were imported in the Alternative Market of the Athens Stock Exchange (mastihashop, Doppler, Foodlink, Performance Technologies), while the company achieved one of the first sales of a Greek technology start-up company - Antcor in a foreign group and specifically in the large Swiss multinational company u-Blox (2014).

Within the framework of his +20 years of presence in the investment market, he has gained specialized experience in acquisitions and mergers, business development and reorganization and implementation of large investment plans.

In October 2011, he was awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry of increasing employment for the long-term investment presence and company’s contribution to the opening of new jobs.

He has participated in more than 20 Boards of Directors of companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, investment companies, and public organizations and has gained significant decade of experience in the management of large companies by participating in their Boards of Directors (NFED 2012-2015, PPC 2009, REC 2007-2009, APER 2004-2007).

He is the President of the Hellenic Venture Capital Companies Association (HVCA), a member of the Advisory Committee of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Alternative Market of the Athens Stock Exchange as well as a member of the MBA International Business Council of the Athens University of Economics.

Since 2001 to 2013 he served as an elected member of the Steering Committee of the TCG, responsible for Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises, Entrepreneurship issues.

He is a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering School - specializing in Production and Management Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and holds an MBA issued by Cass Business School London.

Constantinos Xifaras

Costantinos Xifaras, an executive of the energy market with deep knowledge and experience of the sector particularities, returns to natural gas as a CEO of DEPA this time.

Being a qualified Production and Management Engineer, a graduate of the Technical University of Crete, 43-year-old K. Xifaras belongs to the generation of young managers with significant success and tenure in both the public and private sectors as a consultant to Greek and multinational groups. He was introduced to the Greek energy market in 2013 when he took over the position of CEO of NGTSO until 2016. Among the projects he managed was the emblematic, for the Greek gas system, construction of the third tank in Revithousa, the installation of the reverse system at the Sidirokastro station on the Greek-Bulgarian border, the System Interconnection Agreement between NGTSO and Bulgartransgaz, which signaled the opening of the wholesale market through the activation of new players in the market and consequently the increase of competition, security and the promotion of cross-border natural gas trade in terms of free tender, etc. During his tenure as CEO of NGTSO, a total of 238 km of new high pressure pipelines were constructed, with the company's investments reaching 232.4 million euros.

In addition, he participated in the demanding negotiations for the privatization of the natural gas system operator, while he completed the cooperation agreement of NGTSO with the three distribution companies in Attica, Thessaloniki and Thessaly.

Today, he is elected as a Deputy Secretary General of the Technical Chamber of Greece and was the head of the working group of TCG that consulted on technical issues for the construction of the TAP pipeline. At the same time, he is the Secretary of the Greek National Committee at the World Energy Council (WEC), in which he participates as a National Representative.

In the past, he has participated as a consultant in large and demanding private business plans and investments, while he served as a consultant in the Ministries of Development and Energy.
